AI is everywhere. Artificial Intelligence AI ->Machine Learning ML ->Deep Learning DL ->Computer Vision CV, while the implementation of AI intelligent functions in security mainly relies on computer vision to achieve understanding and recognition of images, speech, and text. The AI functionality is mainly influenced by three factors: algorithms, computing power, and big data.



AI functionality

The AI functions in security include intelligent functions based on front-end cameras, intelligent functions based on back-end central platforms, or cloud edge integration.

Among them, the AI intelligent function based on front-end cameras has a new concept. Software defined cameras, that is, whether the intelligent function of cameras is mainly determined by software (SDC) or hardware, has sparked heated discussions and debates in the industry. The common AI functions in the security field are divided into the following four categories:


1.Human body analysis: facial recognition, posture recognition, human feature extraction, etc;

2.Vehicle analysis: license plate recognition, vehicle recognition, vehicle feature extraction, etc;

3.Behavioral analysis: target tracking monitoring, abnormal behavior analysis, etc;

4.Image analysis: video quality diagnosis, video summary analysis, etc.

   1.Behavioral analysis: boundary detection, area intrusion detection, entry/exit area detection, loitering detection, personnel gathering detection, rapid movement detection, parking detection, item leaving/retrieval detection

   2.Abnormal detection: scene change detection, audio abnormality (audio steep rise/fall detection, audio presence or absence detection), virtual focus detection

8.Vehicle inspection

   Support license plate capture, recognition of color, model, main brand, sub brand, model year, etc., machine non-human recognition, detection of forward or reverse driving vehicles, as well as pedestrians and non motor vehicles, automatic recognition of vehicle license plates, and capture images of vehicles without license plates.
